The social media space is buzzing once again this time, it’s a heated clash between two well-known personalities: Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, and Linus Williams Ifejika, widely recognized as B-Lord.
What began as a simple product review has now spiraled into one of the most talked-about online dramas of the moment.
How Did It All Start?
It all started when B-Lord began marketing a modified version of the iPhone XR, branded as the “iPhone 17”, with a price tag of ₦450,000. However, VeryDarkMan, who is currently in China, came across the video and decided to expose what he described as an overpriced gimmick.

He demonstrated how such phones are modified and revealed that the actual cost in China was far lower than what B-Lord was selling.
This revelation quickly went viral, stirring massive reactions across social media platforms. While some praised VeryDarkMan for enlightening buyers, others accused him of trying to ruin B-Lord’s business and reputation.
Things Get Messy
The situation escalated when B-Lord took to his Instagram story with a shocking post, offering ₦500,000 to anyone who could provide VeryDarkMan’s nudes.
According to him:Abeg who get Martin's nudes???send to me I'll pay 500k
When he was busy selling nudes I was busy building empire

Surprisingly, one of his followers responded, sent the pictures, and reportedly received the cash reward — which B-Lord proudly posted on his Instagram story not just once.

In response, VeryDarkMan fired back in his usual fearless tone, saying he wasn’t bothered. He even went as far as sending one of his own nudes to B-Lord, mocking the entire situation.

The Plot Thickens
Things took another twist when B-Lord posted a screenshot revealing that the customer care number of his gadget store was linked to VeryDarkMan’s sister. When questioned, VeryDarkMan confirmed it, replying, “Who else am I supposed to put in charge of it?”

As the feud deepened, VeryDarkMan visited several gadget stores in China to compare prices, showing that B-Lord’s products were allegedly sold at inflated rates. He even extended his investigation to B-Lord’s car brand, claiming that the vehicles were also overpriced.
Now, in an unexpected move, VeryDarkMan has announced plans to open his own gadget store in Nigeria — a decision many see as a direct challenge to B-Lord’s empire and other gadget dealers.

Influence or Instigation?
Whether this saga is a genuine act of consumer advocacy or simply another case of social media instigation, one thing is certain — people can’t stop talking about it.
So, what do you think?
Is VeryDarkMan doing the right thing by exposing inflated prices, or is he just trying to prove a point?
And was B-Lord’s reaction — posting his rival’s nudes — ever justified ?
